Conference Giveaways

PLA wants to welcome as many attendees to Portland as we can! To help make that happen, we will be giving away several conference prizes leading up to live event. Below are the rules, regulations, and winners of current and past giveaways.

Past Giveaways

“FREEPLA22” Registration Code Giveaway
By January 31, 2022

• Rules: Enter code “FREEPLA22” at registration to enter to win one comped registration. Limited to one prize per customer.
• Prize: One comped PLA 2022 Conference registration ($330+ value)
• Number of winners: Five
• Selection: This code was included in the PLA 2022 Preliminary Program mailing. Anyone who registers with the code by January 31, 2022, will be entered to win. Winners will be selected at random by PLA’s registration company. Limited to one prize per customer.
• Notification: Winners will receive an email alerting them they’ve won and their registration fee will be reimbursed.

Twitter: New Year’s Resolutions Giveaway
January 10–12, 2022

• Rules: Tweet your professional development new year’s resolutions to @ALA_PLA between January 10–12, 2022 to enter to win. Limited to one tweet per day per account.
• Prize: One comped PLA 2022 Conference registration ($330+ value)
• Number of winners: Two
• Selection: All tweets that contain new year’s resolution content and tag @ALA_PLA between January 10–12, 2022 will be entered to win. Winners will be selected at random and notified via Twitter direct message by January 14, 2022. Limited to one prize per person.
• Notification: A direct message will be sent to the winners’ Twitter accounts alerting them they’ve won and requesting their contact information to complete the registration process.
