Jasmine Guillory is a lawyer, a graduate of Wellesley College and Stanford Law School, and a Bay Area native who lives in Oakland, CA. She has been published in The Toast and The Hairpin, has towering stacks of books in her living room, a cake for every occasion, and upwards of fifty lipsticks. Erik Larson is the author of five national nonfiction bestsellers—Dead Wake, In the Garden of Beasts, Thunderstruck, The Devil in the White City, and Isaac's Storm—that have been published in nearly 20 countries and collectively sold more than 9 million copies worldwide. He has taught non-fiction writing at San Francisco State, the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars, the University of Oregon, and the Chuckanut Writers Conference in Bellingham, WA, and has spoken to audiences from coast to coast. A former resident of Seattle, he now lives in Manhattan with his wife, a neonatologist. They have three daughters in far-flung locations and professions.
