The #NABJ21 Career Fair is the largest career expo for journalists and media professionals of color in the country. The #NABJ21 Career Fair will take place as a virtual event August 18-20, 2021. The Career Fair showcases the tremendous range of news organizations operating today, from journalism schools to digital startups looking for journalists and media-related professionals for their newsrooms.
The companies that attend the Career Fair and Exhibit Hall are seeking to fill full-time positions, internships and freelance assignments. Employers seek candidates to cover a range of subject areas including health and science, business and economics, investigative journalism, sports, weather, media, technology, politics and government, general assignment, race and justice, metro and community news, arts, culture and entertainment, food, travel and fashion, international news and more.

CAREER FAIR SCHEDULE

*Booth representatives will be permitted to enter the virtual exhibit site earlier than 9:00 AM EDT on scheduled show days, where they can access the virtual exhibit floor at 7:00 AM EDT to prepare daily. Booth representatives will be permitted to remain on the virtual exhibit floor after closing hour each evening until 8:00 PM EDT to accommodate West Coast Attendees.

Attendees, exhibitors, special guests, presenters, and partners of events may be captured via these formats. Full sessions and activities are subject to live-streaming and all such content is the sole property of NABJ to be used in any way NABJ determines to be appropriate.

In order to provide listed services and event access, NABJ may export your basic registration information to a secure convention vendor or partner (this includes name and email address but not financial or private information).

Please Note: Underage drinking is not permitted at NABJ events. In addition, all convention attendees are subject to the rules of the NABJ Code of Conduct.

Important Notice: Entry to each event is on a first-come, first-serve basis based on capacity. At the discretion of NABJ, some sessions may be available for limited playback.
