Religious Services and Kosher Food

Daily Minyan Services

As an official part of the Conference, space is provided for daily minyan services, and this year, the Farnsworth Room in the Hilton Hotel has been reserved for these services. The Conference accommodates minyan services but does not organize them. If you would like to attend such a service or you would like to help organize one, write to Avraham Groll at agroll@jewishgen.org

A traditional (Orthodox) service is already being organized. A Sefer Torah will be available for reading on Monday and Thursday. Shacharit (morning) services will be held each morning from Monday through Friday, and there will be Mincha (afternoon) and Maariv (evening) services each day from Sunday through Thursday.

Shabbat Services and Meals

For the Shabbat prior to the Conference on Friday, August 8th, we can offer the following options:

Kosher Food

Kosher food will be provided at the conference by Kramer's Kosher Cuisine in South Bend, Indiana. The Foster Room of the Hilton Hotel has been reserved as a Kosher Hospitality Room. Questions can be addressed to our KosherSIG Facebook Group or to Hadassah Lipsius.
