The 42nd IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy will take place virtually.
The conferences is hosted by the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies (IAJGS), an umbrella organization of more than 90 Jewish genealogical organizations worldwide. The IAJGS coordinates and organizes activities such as the annual IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy and provides a unified voice as the spokesperson on behalf of its members. The IAJGS’s vision is of a worldwide network of Jewish genealogical research organizations and partners working together as one coherent, effective, and respected community—enabling people to succeed in researching Jewish ancestry and heritage.
Judi Missel is the IAJGS Lead Co-Chair with Hadassah Lipsius as Co-Chair. They can be reached at chair@iajgs2022.org and co-chair@iajgs2022.org, respectively.
This year, the Virtual Conference local host is the Jewish Genealogical and Archival Society of Greater Philadelphia. The conference was held previously in Philadelphia in 2009 and 1989 and was originally to be held there last year, before the decision was made to go virtual again.
The local conference chair is Fred Blum, past-president of the JGASGP. He can be reached at local-chair@iajgs2022.org.
