The hotel is located on Harbor Island, which runs east-west for a distance of 1.5 miles parallel to and south of the San Diego airport as shown in the Google Earth image on the right. As a result, besides the restaurants in the hotel, there are not many within walking distance.

|Coasterra is located at the far eastern end of Harbor Island, 880 Harbor Island Drive, about 0.7 miles from the Conference hotel. It offers modern Mexican fare with spectacular views of the harbor and city.|
|Tom Ham’s Lighthouse restaurant is located at the far western end of Harbor Island, 2150 Harbor Island Drive, a little over 1 mile from the Conference hotel. It offers seafood with spectacular views.|
|The Panorama Bar & Grill is located in the Hilton Hotel at 1960 Harbor Island Drive, overlooking the marina. It offers New American Cuisine.|
|Papanani’s Deli offers simple food—omelets, pancakes, or burritos for breakfast and sandwiches or pizza for lunch. At 1450 Harbor Island Drive, it’s a short walk from the Conference hotel.|
