NOTE: If you were registered for the canceled, in-person San Diego conference:
Before registering for the Conference, please make yourself familiar with the material on this page, and especially the information about the Cancellation/Refund Policy.
If you have not yet registered and want to begin the process, mouse over the REGISTRATION tab above and click on the NEW REGISTRATION item.
REGISTERING A SPOUSE/DOMESTIC PARTNER: If you have already registered for the Conference and you now want to register a companion (Spouse/Domestic Partner), follow the same process. Mouse over the REGISTRATION tab above and click on the NEW REGISTRATION item. (Note: there is no student category for the virtual conference.) When you get to the page where you specify the type of registration, select the $75 spouse/domestic partner registration option. You will then be asked for the name of the primary registrant. Enter the name of that person (as registered), and the process can then continue.
If you have already registered and want to make changes or add items, click on the ATTENDEE SERVICE CENTER tab. You will need to log in using the User ID and Password that were sent to you in your registration confirmation email message.
As the schedule of optional items is completed (almost all are already set), the registration form will be updated. Then you may use the ATTENDEE SERVICE CENTER to edit your record to select and to pay for those events.
For the virtual conference, there are two types of registration:
Full Conference (Primary and Spouse/Domestic Partner): Each registrant may participate in any program—but only one at a time. One can switch programs at any time, just as one could change rooms during the in-person conference, but one cannot be in two “rooms” at the same time.
A spouse/domestic partner is free to listen to the same programs as the primary registrant without a separate registration. The Spouse/Domestic Partner registration is intended for a situation in which the second person wants to be able to participate in a second program at the same time.
There is no student category for the virtual conference.[Return to Top]
The registration form comprises several separate pages. Here is a map listing the main contents of each page of the form.
“Continue” and “Back” buttons allow moving among the pages.
The registration fee for a primary registrant is discounted during early registration as specified below.
(through July 5)
(starting July 6)
|Spouse/Domestic Partner (†)||$75||$75|
|Limited Access Registrant||$0||$0|
(†) For the definition of a “Spouse/Domestic Partner”, see BELOW.[Return to Top]
A confirmation receipt is automatically generated when you complete your registration and payment. If you did not receive a receipt for your payment or need another copy, log into the Attendee Service Center. Once you are logged in, additional menu items will appear under that tab. Click on the “Registration Payment” item. At the bottom of the screen that appears, there is a link “Click to View Invoice/Statement”. Click on it to create the receipt.[Return to Top]
We expect most fees to be paid by credit card using the registration system.
If, for some reason, you cannot use or do not want to use a credit card, payments may be made by check. However, please observe the note in the following box.
PAYMENT BY CHECK
Checks should be made payable to “IAJGS San Diego 2020” and sent to:
IAJGS San Diego 2020 Treasurer
18 Lois Ln
Lexington, MA 02420-4429
The reduced “Spouse/Domestic Partner” registration fee applies only for spouses and domestic partners who reside in the same household. It does not apply for roommates, siblings, parents, children, or other relatives of the primary registrant, even if they live in the same household. The Conference reserves the right to verify the status of anyone registering in this category.[Return to Top]
The cancellation policy for 2020 virtual conference is very simple: there will be no refunds.
The conference content will be available for up to 60 days of viewing “on demand” after the conference, so everyone who registers should have the opportunity to benefit from the conference.[Return to Top]
