  • Coronavirus Update (17 March 2020): The Conference organizers, like most everyone, are continuously monitoring the information about the novel coronovirus. With the conference still five months away, planning is continuing with the expectation that the Conference will take place as scheduled.

  • Registration & Hotel Booking Now Open (13 February 2020): The registration system is now open. Start by reading the OVERVIEW page, which includes important information, such as prices, cutoff dates, and important policies. For information about booking a hotel room at the special conference rate, look under the HOTEL/TRAVEL tab. Note especially the step-by-step instructions for booking a room online (Reserve Online).

  • Registration Coming Soon (2 February 2020): The registration system is nearly complete and is being tested now. We hope that it will be in operation very soon. In the meantime, we have opened some pages with detailed information about the conference. See the Registration Overview page for details about registration, including dates and prices, plus various pages under the PROGRAM tab.

  • Speaker Notifications (20 January 2020): Notifications to speakers about the status of their proposed programs will be going out on January 21. Those who submitted proposals should watch their email and be prepared to follow any instructions promptly. The timetable is tight.

  • Registration (20 December 2019): The target date for opening registration is February 1, 2020. We hope to have both the conference and hotel registration ready then and are working to get all meals and additional-charge programming set before then so that you will have a one-stop shopping experience when you eventually register. This is ambitious, so please wish us luck. And thanks for your interest in the IAJGS San Diego Conference! Happy 2020 to us all! Chag Chanukah Sameach!

  • Call for Proposals Closed (28 November 2019): The Call for Proposals has now closed, and the Program Committee is beginning the difficult task of selecting the presentations that will be offered at the conference. There were approximately twice as many submissions as can be accepted.

  • Call for Proposals (27 October 2019): The Call for Proposals is now open. See the SPEAKERS tab. Start by reading the Call for Proposals. Note that the submission deadline is November 27.
