- Technology Recognition Lunch: The Modern-Day Technology Leaders and Science Spectrum Trailblazers are recognized for their contributions in the workplace. They are selected by their employers or team members. This high-energy event is full of pride of accomplishment and belonging to the organizations that provide work environments that nurture professional growth and excellence.
- BEYA Leading Voices
The voices of thought leaders you've met throughout the year in each issue of USBE & IT magazine come to life in this engaging forum where leaders in research and development at the HBCUs present "Tech Talks" about their discoveries and innovations. In addition to the "Tech Talks," the recipients of the STEM Innovations Awards are recognized.
- Student Leadership Dinner: Here, you'll feel moved as the group celebrates the incredible capacity of some STEM students to not only meet the demands of their curriculum but also overcome major career and life challenges.
- HBCU Engineering Deans' Breakfast: A substantial portion of the nation's African-American engineers graduate from the 15 ABET-accredited engineering schools. It is fitting that deans of the HBCU engineering schools host this event that honors the peer-reviewed Special Recognition Awards, Educational Leadership Award and Student Leadership Awards.
- BEYA Gala: Many call this event "The Oscars of the STEM Industry" because presenters have announced the Black Engineer of the Year Award winner during this gala for more than 30 years
