The College Student Experience
The 2019 BEYA STEM Conference offers two programs to help you advance your career goals. Participants in the college programs will find career opportunities and role models, connect with mentors, attend inspirational events, and so much more. It’s all up to you! Come prepared to learn, grow, and connect. Opportunities begin the moment you arrive in Washington, DC.
Workshop Offerings | Student Brochure
DIEL College Program
We recommend that you arrive on Friday no later than 3:00 p.m. The earlier you arrive, the better your access to scheduled seminars and workshops. The DIEL program provides access to events on Friday (with the exception of the lunch). Although you have full access right away, we’ve developed a series of seminars specifically for pre-professionals that we encourage you to attend first. Some of these seminars are designed to prepare you for networking and interviewing, exploring skills that you can use right away at networking events and throughout the career fair.
CCG JobMatch Program
The CCG JobMatch Program is a 20-hour soft-skills training program providing certification to demonstrate that you have the skills employers need to ensure a successful transition to the workplace. Coursework covers topics that include interpersonal skills, teamwork and team building, handling multi-generational challenges, and business etiquette. This program can be completed through a combination of course participation either online or at our conferences. Visit the website for more information. How to Participate
CCG has assigned a campus coordinator to several campuses to manage group participation. If we have not assigned a campus coordinator to your campus and there are more than four students in attendance, please contact us for assistance with attendance coordination. If you wish to become a campus coordinator, please download the coordinator agreement to get started.
Deciphering the Fees
Published fees include a two-night hotel stay. This includes quad occupancy and travel arrangements in some cases. Contact us to start planning your attendance. Fees for group attendance are based on the distances below and can be found here. If you are attending on your own and you require housing, the cost is $450 plus your hotel and transportation. If you do not require housing, there is no fee.
