2013 CPA Seminar
Please join APSCU for the annual CPA Seminar! The CPA Seminar is for CPAs working at firms that conduct financial and compliance audits of private sector colleges and universities and in-house institutional CPAs. Topics covered include regulatory updates; compliance; 90-10; and more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network and discuss industry related issues among themselves.
Delivery Method: Group seminar
Course Level: Update. Invited presenters include legal experts and federal agency officials. The program will also allow substantial time for discussion among the participating CPAs.
Prerequisites: Must be a CPA who currently audits career colleges that participate in Title IV. This program will educate independent auditors about the federal regulations relating to the HEA Title IV student aid programs and recently issued sub-regulatory guidance for their performance of the annual compliance audits of participating institutions. In addition, recent developments affecting performance of the financial statement audits will be covered.
