Welcome to the 2017 IPS: The Mental Health Services Conference Submission Site!


The 2017 IPS: The Mental Health Services Conference submission site is currently open to new submissions of workshops, symposia, rapid-fire talks, and posters. The site will close on January 10, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Late submissions and deadline extensions cannot be granted.

The theme for this year's conference is Enhancing Access & Effective Care.

To begin a new submission, follow the steps below:

1. Click the "Start Your Submission" link below
2. Search for your name
a. If found, select your record from the list and click "Start"
b. If not, follow the onscreen instructions to create a new account.
3. Set up or edit your profile
4. Enter your submission details. Click "Continue" when finished
5. Click "Add Co-Presenter" to add additional participants for your session. Co-authors and co-presenters will receive their username and password by email along with a link to access and complete the following agreements:
a. Financial Disclosure
b. Presenter Release (if applicable)
c. Registration Acknowledgment (if applicable)
NOTE: Co-authors will need to complete all agreements except for the acknowledgment of registration and presenter release
6. To save your work, click "Save and Edit Later" or "Submit"
7. Log in to the abstract service center using the username and password sent by email to complete your disclosure and presenter releases
8. Be sure to finalize your submission by clicking "Submit" when all parts are entered successfully

Important information for a successful submission:

1.       The submitted abstract(s) will be graded for IPS: The Mental Health Services Conference 2017, October 19-22, 2017 in New Orleans, La.
2.       For guidelines and examples of abstracts, please click here.
3.       Disclosures must be received from all presenters before the abstract can be reviewed and must be received by the site closing date. All 8 steps above must be completed by the site closing date. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
4.       Acceptable browsers: Windows and MAC PCs: Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera; Windows PC: IE 9. Other browsers may be incompatible.
5.       Only the director or chair of a submission will be able to submit. If you are submitting on behalf of a director or chair you will need to obtain his or her login credentials
6.       Email correspondence with the Office of Scientific Programs will come from program@psych.org. Please ensure that you are able to receive emails from this address before submitting your presentation.
